Just a wee bit of advice it may help someone as I’ve had to cut my sump bolt out due to it being overused and over tightened, the best socket to get is an imperial sized 1/2 socket 6 sided, it fits so so tight on the bolt unlike the 13 mm bolt which is somewhat loose when on the head and can result in running in to issues.

Ah well, after trawling the internet for weeks I can only deduce that I am the one and only person who has managed to completely mash up the outlet plastic fitting but can not find any trace of the pipe presumeably from the tank down to the filter; its the one with a 45 degree t piece immediately after the filter.

thanks for the video. i was confused by the weird black box sitting on top of the battery in my leon (assuming i had to disconnect it rather than just unclipping and lifting out the way) so ive neglected to change the old battery out since i bought it 18 months ago 😅 cant believe it was so simple all along, shoulda searched YT ages ago 😂😂

thank you for this, but, if you are still listening. When I went to take off the wiring loom. I didn't know whether to press that little tab or pull it or whatever. It didn't seem to move much no matter what I did. But, then brute force and ignorance took over and something snapped. Now it doesn't 'click' when I put it back on. What are my options?

To confirm you used 150ml solution with 2 full milk gallons of water (approx 4.5l) ? Have some spare so trying to work out good ratio for car upholstery although ill prob knock it down a little to be safe

Would this be the same process for a 1.6?

The oil filter is removed easier by removing the o/s/f wheel to gain better access. A drip tray can be used to catch the oil that will leak from the lower pipe when the filter housing is slackened off. The filter contains oil therefore when you refill to somewhere you think is close, start the engine, then wait for the oil to drain back. Otherwise your dip stick will show a false reading as the new filter will be empty! Use a torque wrench the setting is written on the oil filter housing.

Useful video. Wear did you put the jack? Was it under the jacking points for the scissor jack? That looks really tight for a trolley jack head, do you use a pinch seam pad?

How many km/mls had the old sparkplugs?

Do I need Scan tool (to delete possible error doing this process) if I only replace my spark plugs?
